About Me

head

I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology. My primary interest is using mathematical models to study cultural evolution, especially how groups form and cultures diverge. I got my PhD in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My dissertation uses analytical and computational modelling to investigate how the learning of traits under sexual selection affects speciation.

Currently I am building models that allow linkage between cultural traits.
